It looks like you've gone as far as you can go to make that as dark and bleak as possible.
Will there be any chance for us to see it. The internet maybe?

Yeah, it is very bleak and dark. But there are also comedic elements that manage to shine through.
I've sent it out to two festivals so far; the first denied it, the second I should be hearing back from very soon. I'm going to apply to a few more, and after that (depending on how it goes) I may sell vhs copies direct mail order, advertising on boards such as this.
Quite a few people have e-mailed me about purchasing a vhs copy, so I might as well.

It didn't get into the Canadian Film Centre's Toronto Worldwide Short Film Festival (they only pick 100 shorts out of over 2000 applications) & the 2001 Splice This! festival, which I will be hearing back from soon.
To tell you the truth, my film wouldn't stand a chance at getting into the big festivals like Toronto, Telluride, Sundance, etc. Its too 'underground' for that lot.

You should at least try to get it in there; if you would like to have a film in Sundance or Telluride, etc. How will you know if it's too underground unless you try. And if it is, so what...At least there's no what-iffing

I have no idea. It sounds self righteous to me...almost like it's too good for them. (I know this sounds mean, but it's what it comes out as to me.)

When is the last time you've heard of a 7-minute experimental/horror video, shot in Super-8 & mastered on BetaSP (for a total of $600 bucks) being featured at TIFF or Telluride? Those big festivals just don't cater to shit like mine...
